Jason started his career with British Airways after having completed an Engineering Degree in the UK. He was responsible for wide-body maintenance on Concorde, Boeing 747 & 777 culminating in the position of Engineering Manager for the airline’s Heathrow long-haul operations.

After eight years with the airline, he turned his attention to business aviation and joined the commercial department of TSA Transairco in Geneva, Switzerland, a Major Dassault Service Center. Two years later he set up a company to operate and charter business aircraft for owners seeking to improve their returns on investment and reduce operating costs.

In 2003, he returned to TSA Transairco as CEO to lead the company through a major restructuring to ensure its future profitability as an Authorised Dassault, Hawker Beechcraft and Pilatus Service & Sales Center. He also substantially grew the FBO and aircraft sales activities recognising that their potential had not been fully met.  The company was bought by RUAG in 2007 and now operates under the name of RUAG Aviation. During his seven-year tenure, he returned the company back to profitability, modernized the company’s business philosophy and introduced a more customer oriented service attitude.

Jason founded MPLANES in 2009 with the aim of delivering high quality business aviation consultancy with discretion and a personal touch as founding principles.

Kristin discovered her passion for aviation at the age of seven when her father used to take her to Hamburg’s airport to watch the aircraft take off.  As soon as she was old enough, she applied to be a flight attendant and flew for Aero Lloyd in their fleet of Airbus A320 and McDonnell Douglas MD-80 Series aircraft.

After moving to the UK in the 1990s, she joined British Airways and learned the art of ‘Exceeding Customer Expectations’ with the Worlds Favourite Airline, a quality she has continued to nurture and which guides here professional principles.

In Geneva in the 2000s she worked in Customer Services for Jet Aviation and Swissport and then joined MPLANES in 2009 initially as back office manager and then as Key Accounts Manager.

Commencing his career at Crossair, Switzerland’s second airline at the time, Hartmut developed a keen interest in aviation.  Identifying a need for project management experience, he then took up several posts in software and engineering consultancy firms in the late 90s and early 00s.

His areas of responsibility quickly expanded to include EMEA with a special interest in Africa and the Middle East where he assisted start-ups with software and supply chain implementation.

Lufthansa Systems recognised Hartmut’s experience and outward vision and then employed him for almost 10 years in the fields of pre-sales, sales, and implementation of IT solutions for airline crews and operations staff.

Hartmut brings project management expertise in difficult markets to MPLANES at a time when our company’s success depends on our ability to be flexible and to innovate.
