MPLANES founder Jason Mulcock started his career with British Airways after having completed an Engineering Degree in the UK. He was responsible for wide-body maintenance on Boeing 747, 777 and Concorde culminating in the position of Engineering Manager for the airline’s Heathrow long-haul operations.
After eight years with the airline he turned his attention to business aviation and joined the commercial department of TSA Transairco in Geneva, Switzerland, a Major Dassault Service Center.
Two years later he set up a company to operate and charter business aircraft for owners seeking to improve their returns on investment and reduce operating costs.
In 2003 he returned to TSA Transairco as CEO to lead the company through a major restructuring to ensure its future profitability as an Authorised Dassault Falcon, Hawker Beechcraft and Pilatus Service & Sales Center. Concurrently, he successfully developed the FBO and aircraft sales activities of the company. The company was bought by RUAG in 2007 and operates under the name of RUAG Aviation.
MPLANES was founded in 2009 and is based in Geneva, Switzerland, one of the major business aviation hubs of the world.
